This short jacket includes an inner liner, I can wear only a thin mid layer inside and it is still very warm and windproof. Even during slight rain, I am still dry and warm inside. Don't know why Komine makes FORZAX includes chest guards but FORZAX II does not, so I purchased them separately for extra protection. The cutting and the elbow guards at the sleeves make arm movement a little restrictive if you don't have thin arms, but does not interfere the riding. Overall, a good value winter jacket that is warm, windproof and also slightly waterproof.
