KAWASAKI Ninja1000 (Z1000SX)

This clutch civer was a part I had been meaning to get as the old one took a hit with a stone that caused a few scratches and scrapes on it which looked unsightly. I found the correct oart by using the tools Webike provide on their help pages and then cross referencing with Kawasaki schematics for this model. Not hard at all. The price was really good as this was an item that Webike had on a slight sale so better than I could source locally. I rarely ever just order one part for whatever bike as the shipping can be costly. To help with this, I had a few other parts in the same order which cut down on the overall shipping cost. My order was shipped using EMS and it was delivered quickly in 5 days from shipping. The clutch cover came in a nice Kawasaki box and was very well protected with padding. It has a lovely satin black paint on it and this matches perfectly with every other casing on this side of the bike. Fitting was super easy as there are just a few bolts to attach. I had forgotten about some of the smaller parts to refit the seat bracket and this included a few collars and bolts etc. Time to order all of those to help the project along. Finding the right collars was pretty easy as I had already seen the schematics for the seat section. These collars are small and yes, you could possible reuse the old parts but as this did not have any anyway, I needed to purchase them. For this project I needed 2 so added to my basket and a few other small parts. I had them all shipped together which would save a little on shipping costs too. Every little helps you know. EMS had my delivery made within 5 days from being shipped which you cannot argue with. These small collars and some of the bolts were inside a bubble wrap envelope to keep them safe and also to stop them from being lost etc. The packaging was a simple Kawasaki bag but that was fine. The collars are not really much to look at but they are very well made and are exact tot he specifications needed for the job in hand. Once fitted I will update my review. One happy customer.
